LANDO CALRISSIAN (SMUGGLER'S GARB) created by Darth Daddy

This was a quick custom made with the head of the Sandstorm Lando, lower arms of Bom Vimdim, and the Lando Calrissian - Smuggler Outfit action figure that Hasbro put out in 2007. The only paint needed was on the neck and lower arms.  The parts were available so we felt like adding this version to the collection.

Abyssin Smuggler Custom Action Figure

Dad made this action figure in under 2 hours.  He grabbed a Myo head cast that we got from Star Wars customizer SithHappens and used Green Stuff (Kneadadite) to sculpt the hair and beard onto the cast.  Then Dad only had to paint the head.  He said he was thinking about ideas for large alien sidekicks like Chewbacca for future Star Wars films when he came up with this design.  I asked him to keep the green streaks in the hair and he agreed it was a nice touch.  Dad said when he has the chance he wants to paint more detail into his eye.

The body is from a Captain America Crossbones action figure.

Customizer Spotlight #21: BL4CK5H33P

It's been a long time since we did one of these posts, but it wasn't for a lack of wanting to.  Truth is the archives were deleted due to an interface change on Blogger.  We hit the edit button to update the archives and it was gone with a hit of the button.  So after a month of rebuilding the archives, we have an update.   BL4CK5H33P is a newcomer to the customizing forums, but his action figures look like the work of a veteran.  When we saw a few of his customs for sale, we jumped at the chance to purchase two of our favorite pieces of his.  These figures look great and we recommend checking out his forum thread and sales thread to see if anything calls out to you.  This customizer will be one to watch.

ZABRAK FEMALE

xDad created this action figure on the fly and wrapped the whole figure up in less than an hour. He used a body from a Dragon Ball Z Bulma action figure that he thought he was never going to use and the head of the Clone Wars Eeth Koth action figure that he tried to feminize with a little paint. Dad didn't like the arm articulation on the Bulma action figure so he used the forearms of a Clone Wars Cad Bane to finish her up. She doesn't look like a Star Wars figure enough for Dad, but I love her. Dad may redo her at some point, but she works for now. We use her as a cool background figure in the Cantina, the Outlander Club or even in Jabba's Palace depending on what we're up to. She's just a random smuggler used to spice things up.

Bith Smuggler

Another fast and easy custom by Dad. This action figure is made 100% from parts we found in our fodder box. We know the head is from a Cantina band action figure and the arms and vest look like they are from a Han Solo figure. All the rest, couldn't tell you. Boiled all the parts for about 5 minutes to get the pieces soft and pliable and then popped it all together. Dad painted the sweater, and the whole figure was finished in less than 30 minutes. Any kids out there, make sure you have parent supervision if you are going to be using the family stove top.
