Cad Bane in Clone Trooper Disguise

Dad made this action figure last weekend. He used an extra Cad Bane figure, carved away the pieces on the head that weren't needed, and painted the head a solid blue. We grabbed a backpack from an extra Ahsoka figure we had from the Arianna that we made, and then Dad picked up a Clone Wars Echo action figure he saw in the supermarket and painted him to match Cad Bane in the "Children of the Force" episode.

Customizer Spotlight #5: Order66Customs

Time for yet another edition of Customizer Spotlight. This time around we are featuring the work of Order66Customs, also known as Fritzkrieg. We have several pieces made by this artist and Dad says these are some of his favorites in my collection. Dad likes the diorama fillers with no back story. He says these figures provide a lot of freedom when we play because we don't have to worry about messing with the Star Wars timeline. Just last night Dad came across the work of Order66Customs in the Yakface Forums (http://www.yakfaceforums.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=267). We got to see the action figures shown below posted there before they had been added to my collection. We were shocked when we realized how long ago the figures were made. They were all created in 2007, but we did not acquire them until this year. Anyway enough talk, check out the skills on this artist. Hope you enjoy as much as we do!

P.S. - Make sure you check out those forums. His custom vehicles are over the top. Wish I had some in my collection.

SPACE JOCKEY

Love the paint job on the helmet.

KUBAZ TRAVELER

We had so much fun with this action figure that he took up an entire days worth of playing.

Still having fun with him.

TUSKEN WAR CHIEF

Chukarr Karott
Seduced by the technology of the outlanders, as well as their drink. Chukarr veiws the old ways as foolish and craves the power that the outlanders possess. He secretly plots to take control of the five clans. He has been hoarding a cache of outlander weaponry, buying his time for just the right moment.

Customizer Spotlight #4: Stocos28

This week, Customizer Spotlight is proud to present Stocos28. Stocos28 has been an ebay member since July of 2005 offering custom action figures to the ebay community. We bought a human Jedi named Kentar Framic from Stocos28 and have been using it as my Dad in our Star Wars play because of the resemblance.

The action figures body was taken from the Prince of Persia toy line that customizers have been eager to use for the detailed clothing the action figures offer. The clothing is just perfect to use as Jedi robes. The Prince of Persia action figures can be found on clearance in toy stores everywhere if you know where to look. We saw a couple of these on clearance in a local Target.

We love that this figure included a detachable comlink!

You can view the ebay page for Stocos28 and see his items listed for sale at: http://myworld.ebay.com/stocos28/

CHISS PIRATE

Dad recently took a Star Trek Nero action figure that was on clearance and did a quick paint job to turn the action figure into a Chiss pirate. It isn't his favorite custom action figure, but it is a great diorama filler.

Dad Makes Me into a Jedi Padawan

As of late, Boba Fett and I have been rockin' the same hairstyle. So when Hasbro released the new "Rise of Boba Fett Ultimate Battle Pack" in stores, Dad took the opportunity to use the new Boba Fett that came with the battle pack to make me into not only an action figure, but a Jedi padawan action figure. To do this he used two figures. he used an Episode III Zett Jukasa that he bought a few weeks ago strictly with this custom in mind, and an early release of the Clone Wars Boba Fett that Dad got on ebay from Tunghori's Star Wars Army Store at http://myworld.ebay.com/tunghori/. We played with the Boba Fett figure for a few weeks, until yesterday when we found and bought the new "Rise of Boba Fett Ultimate Battle Pack" in a Toys R' Us located not far from where we live.

After Dad cut off the ponytail and braid from Zett Jukasa, he krazy glued the pieces to the Boba Fett figure, and carved down all the joints on the Boba Fett action figure so he wouldn't have any paint wear. After that Dad gave it one of his customized paint jobs.
