"CLONE WARS STEELA & SAW GERRERA" created by CUSTOMS FOR THE KID

Dad has wanted to add the Clone Wars version of Saw Gerrera to the collection for a long time now. So much so that he took it into his own hands to make it happen. The head was originally a modified Clone Wars Anakin Skywalker that Dad completely re-sculpted to more closely assemble Saw's animated persona. Dad borrowed the lower legs from the same figure and completely changed their appearance with Green Stuff and Aves Fixit to mirror Saw's onscreen look. The arms, hands, waist and thighs were from the Clone Wars Quinlan Vos action figure. Of course those were heavily modified. The upper part of his torso was fabricated from the top of the Clone Wars Phase II Clone Trooper. In the end though, Saw ended up being a 100% sculpted action figure since all the parts used were only a base on which Dad built onto.

Once Dad started Saw, I just had to make a Steela. Her legs are from the Clone Wars Padme Amidala, the forearms and hands are from a Clone Wars Cato Parasitti. The rest of the figure was a Clone Wars Aura Sing. From there I just sculpted in everything that needed to be there that wasn't with ProCreate.

We just loved adding this brother/sister set to our collection. Their appearance on our shelves was long overdue!

CUSTOMIZER SPOTLIGHT #52: "GLAUCUS, LARK & JONK" created by sterlistr

Glaucus was a Octeroid male who was also known by the nicknames "Big Guy" and "Big Eye". In 10 BBY, Glaucus spent time watching matches of sabacc in the Lodge on the planet Vandor and witnessed matches between the smugglers Han Solo and Lando Calrissian. He preferred spectating to playing as other players could see his card values reflected in his eye.

Lark and Jonk, nicknamed the twins was a Danzikan who was also present playing inthe infamous sabacc game where Han Solo and Lando Calrissian first met.

Star Wars customizer, sterlistr, offered painted resin casts for both of these characters for sale an his eBay page and we jumped at the chance to add these characters to our collection. Because Hasbro has not released any of the sabacc players from the film "Solo: A Star Wars Story", action figures of any of the characters are in high demand. We highly grab picking up some for yourselves while they are still available.

"Fett's Escape" by Bad Batch Customs

In the "We Backed The Barge" Facebook group, Dad recently joked about blowing up HasLab's crowdfunded Sail Barge. Well, as promised, we give you a video of Bad Batch Customs latest creation which recently brought the iconic Sail Barge explosion to life in Bad Batch's beautiful "Fett's Escape" diorama complete with a "removable" Sarlacc Pit that separates completely from the desert terrain piece and functions as a diorama all its own. The Sarlacc Pit also features a wonderful Boba Fett action figure posed inside tentacles which were hand sculpted to fit around him during his escape. Best of all, for those currently screaming sacrilege at the top of their lungs, the original Hasbro Sail Barge (Jabba's Khetanna) was not harmed in any way. The pieces of the diorama that depict damage are all removable accessories. The sails were hand made from red fabric and weathered by hand. The original red sails still remain intact for complete assembly in its original form upon release.  The side and front panels are also simply resting in place on the Barge creating the illusion of damage without having to modify it in any way. Just some light coming out from the inside and strategic panel placement was all that was needed to create the disheveled appearance of the wreckage.  If you look close he even took the time make a Tusken Raider hut to fill the diorama's space.
