IMPROVING YOUR VINTAGE COLLECTION "ENFYS NEST" ACTION FIGURE

Just a quick YouTube video tutorial from Darth Daddy on how to swap the more detailed 5 poa head of Enfys Nest onto your Vintage Collection Enfys Nest action figure that even a beginner can accomplish with little effort. It only takes as long as it will for you to watch this video.  Feel free to leave any questions you have in the comment section below.  Adult supervision required.

This technique will work on almost any action figure with a ball socket that is too big for the neck peg. If there are no soft goods, just pop the head on right away before the glue from your glue gun even dries. While the glue is drying, shift the head into all the positions you desire while on the neck peg to maintain the full range of motion.  It will end up with a perfect fit. Cut off the excess glue with an X-acto knife and you're done.

CLONE WARS "QUEEN MIRAJ SCINTEL & CONVOR" created by Elias

Miraj Scintel was a female Zygerrian who served as the Queen of Zygerria during the Clone Wars. Seeking to rebuild the Zygerrian Slave Empire that was shut down by the Jedi Knights of the Old Republic, Scintel allied Zygerria with the Confederacy of Independent Systems. She was betrayed by her Prime Minister, Atai Molec and then killed by Count Dooku.

We've been wanting this character added to our action figure collection for years now. Every time we looked at our display shelf full of scum and villainy that appeared on The Clone Wars, we always felt there was a gaping hole without her there beside all our other custom creations.

To make this action figure, I used a Clone Wars Assaj Ventress action figure. We replaced her lower legs with the boots of a Clone Wars Shaak Ti, and the hands with the hands from a Clone Wars Aurra Sing. From there the action figure was completely re-sculpted to match Queen Miraj's appearance in the show. The head was 3D designed in Blender, printed on our SLA printer and painted before being added to the rest of the figure.

Both the Convor and the hilt of her electro-whip were fabricated by hand and sculpted in ProCreate. The yellow electricity was taken from a Comic Pack Lumiya action figures accessory.

Now that she is done, one more hole on our display shelf has been filled and we can't wait to fill the next one ;)

"SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY" CHEWBACCA created by Darth Daddy

This 3.75" super-articulated figure is as easy to make as it gets. Just take a Black Series 3.75" ROTJ Chewbacca and give it the bandoleer of the Force Link 2.0 Chewbacca from the Solo toy line. The goggles are from the  Target Exclusive Vandor-1 Playset Chewbacca.  With all the newly assembled parts you get an easy, no-paint-kitbash custom action figure of your favorite Wookiee in his latest film appearance just in time for Friday's digital release of the film!

I hope we eventually get this figure in the Vintage Collection. We're huge fans of the film here at home, and we'd love to pose him with our Vintage Han Solo and soon to be released Lando Calrissian action figure from this film.

BAD BATCH CUSTOMS Added to "Customs I Wish I Owned"

Some of the best customizers out in the world, still don't have a social media presence where you can see their work. This is very much the case with Bad Batch Customs. The father and son team from Louisiana have been sending me pictures of their work for a year now and their work is just amazing. They have sent me images of numerous custom Star Wars vehicles as well as an incredible Yavin Base diorama that they built in their garage.

They just sent me a ton of pictures of their latest completed "AT-OT" project that I just had to share with you all. The All Terrain Open Transport (AT-OT) was an eight-legged walker designed for the transportation of infantry used by the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. It was deployed during the Battle of Felucia towards the end of the war.

The project consists of two AT-TE toy frames cut in half, and then secured together to make a four-legged frame. Once the frame was all set, they used a Dremel and Plexiglas to create the remaining shape by cutting up a Force Awakens Millennium Falcon and then shaped those pieces to fit cover the exterior. They said each part was a learning process, but a great learning lesson. Once the basic shape was made. the wiring, magnets, and lights went in.

Check out the video I put together from the pictures and video they sent us. If you look at the background, you will see their epic custom Yavin Base diorama.

Want to see more of their work, well, I just had them set up an Instagram account so you can all continue to follow their future projects. I suggest that you all do!
