"SPIDER MAUL" created by Darth Daddy

This action figure was laying about the house, unfinished for far too long. We are so thankful for our YouTube show with Peak-OB1 Custom Creations called "Customizing The Clone Wars" because it pushes us to complete unfinished projects that we desperately wanted to get done. This was one of those very projects. In our next episodic installment of "Customizing The Clone Wars", I will provide a more detailed explanation of how I produced this action figure in 3.75" scale.

Hidden beneath all the scraps of ProCreate, Green Stuff, and salvaged plastic scraps is part of a B'Omarr Monk action figure that we affixed below a fully-sculpted torso and a one-of-a-kind head that were both handcrafted here at home by Darth Daddy

The sculpt was strategically attached to a hidden articulated limb that was surrounded by plastic strips that were securely held in place with hockey tape cuttings to mimic Maul's bandages.

The spider body was wrapped in wire, littered with unlimited numbers of plastic cuttings and assorted sculpted pieces that were held in place with model cement, and enthusiastically weathered with cinnamon to age up all of the chaotic paint work that was applied. Props to Elias for painting on Maul's tattoos.

3.75" THE FORCE AWAKENS "GENERAL LEIA ORGANA" Custom Action Figure created by Customs for the Kid

This figure was a team effort to bring to life. Dad modified the head and body of the figure, while I sculpted on her collar and painted her face and vest.  The body we used to make her was from the Star Wars "Dark Horse: Infinites" Action Figure Comic 2-Pack, with the "White Vader and Princess Leia (Sniper)". After we sanded off the pockets below the shoulders on the Sniper body, we cut the circular braid off of the figure and fused it to the head of the Black Series - "Princess Leia Organa" action figure. The soft plastic part of the dress from the Black Series figure was then modified with scissors to make the vest for the new figure. After some minor sculpting and a fresh coat of paint, we added a very much desired figure to the collection and we just love the way she looks.

"DJ - FIRST ORDER DISGUISE" created by Darth Daddy

As far as difficulty goes, this custom action figure creation is some pretty low hanging fruit and it is an easy way to add to your Last Jedi collection. We sincerely doubt we will ever get a DJ in this outfit from Hasbro, so we decided to make one of our own. We maintained his 5 points of articulation so he matched his companion figures. To make him, we just needed the bottom half of The Last Jedi "DJ (Canto Bight)" head, and the body and hat from The Last Jedi "Finn in First Order Disguise" action figure. We used a hot knife for a precise cut when we removed the hats from both heads and then glued Finn's hat to DJ's head after we sanded away all the extra plastic and hair from his forehead. All that was left to do after that was paint the neck of the Finn body to match DJ's skin tone and we added a new toy to the collection.
