Helix88 Added to "Customs I Wish I Owned"

Twenty-three year old customizer Helix88 from Utah is one cool artist. He sports some of the coolest paint applications you'll see in the Star Wars custom action figure world. He has been customizing for over two years now and he has created some really well executed pieces of art. But don't take our word for it, check it out yourself. We're sure you'll be impressed.

Custom Action Figure News - Episode 20: Psyclone Customs (1st Half)

Well things don't always go as planned and sometimes machines do not work properly either. Psyclones Customs was the latest guest to be interviewed, but unfortunately equipment malfunctioning prevented the entire show from being recorded. The 1st half of the episode was salvaged and Scott has already agreed to go another round to finish the job. It might turn out to be a blessing in disguise as he will probably end up with another hour long show and Shawn will get to ask him more in depth about some things we could not get to due to time. Listen and enjoy as Scott talks about scratch building with styrene and his awesome commandos and so on.

Don't forget to check out his site:

Stay tuned for the second half as soon as they can cook it up!

A CUSTOM BY THE KID

Here's one that I made. Dad has me practicing on my painting technique. I tried to paint some tattoos on her arms and back and added soft goods to a Greeata action figure. She was bald in our fodder bin so I just asked Dad to make her a mohawk for me using his Apoxie Sculpt.

Lots to Be Thankful For

This Thanksgiving I was thankful for the modifications made to my bedroom. Dad installed a few eye hooks into the ceiling and used fishing line to hang several of my Star Wars spaceships in flight mode. It really helped out by clearing up some shelf space as well as some floor space in my room before Christmas rolls around and I get to fill things up some more. space with new toys. I love the way my room looks now. The best part is Dad designed everything so each spaceship can be taken down in seconds for play.

Jedi Master Jah Kheer

This action figure was created using the body of a Comic Pack Ki Adi Mundi, the robe of an Obi Wan Kenobi, and the head of a Clone Wars Quinlan Vos that was heavily modified with Apoxie Sculpt.

Jedi Master Jah Kheer was a close friend of Count Dooku and was one of the Jedi that turned to the dark side during the Clone Wars. A skilled swordsman, he became a real danger to the Republic after his defection from the Jedi Order.

Dad used Apoxie Sculpt to create the beard on the face of this action figure.

Dad also used Apoxie Sculpt to extend the length of the dreadlocks on the head of the Quinlan Vos action figure.
