Qirassh Female

To create this action figure, we used the Clone Wars Padme Amidala in Adventure Gear body and the head of a Leesub Sirln head that Dad modified with Apoxie Sculpt to give her a different hairstyle.  Every now and again the Leesub Sirln action figure can be found at clearance at Toys R' Us.  Since female action figure bodies are hard to come by, we always try and grab as many as we can.  Dad had me practice painting on this figure and then he added the finishing touches to complete the figure.

CAFN Episode 34: Sillof Innovations Interview

STAR WARS PODCASTS

CAFN had a blast talking with Jamie of Sillof's custom's. Sillof is a guy who loves the hobby and has had a great deal of experience in it. He has been working on figures since the 90's!  He will be leading a customizing panel at Celebration VI with Sith_fire30 and Luke Sprywalker.  I'd love to be a fly on the wall for that one!

Listen up and get all the details.

You can see custom action figures created by Sillof here:

We also recommend checking out his "Toy Wars" film series where he brings his action figures and dioramas to life at this link here:

CAFN Episode 33: Tankster Innovations Interview

STAR WARS PODCASTS

Another great interview with another super talented customizer.  Listen to this interview with Tankster Innovations.  He gives a super cool customizing tip on how you can use a hot glue gun to create some really impressive fire effects.  Check out the links below to see his work (I recommend his Joe albums on Facebook!)

H'nemthe Jedi

This H'nemthe Jedi was created with the body of the Vintage Kit Fisto and the head of the M'liyoom. All I had to do was paint the neck post and the hands to get this one done.
