Today the most historic news from Lucasfilm was announced. Disney today purchased Lucasfilm and now owns all of its rights to the Star Wars franchise. Furthermore, a new live-action Star Wars movie is due out in 2015 and more to follow. I'm hoping this won't mean we'll soon be receiving one of the cease and desist orders that Disney is so popular for distributing to artists like ourselves. Not sure if this will be a good or bad thing for the Star Wars franchise.
