CUSTOMIZER SPOTLIGHT #58: "REVENGE OF THE SITH" OBI-WAN KENOBI HEAD by Spartan 118 Customs

This figure was made with a painted head that we purchased from the online store of Spartan 118 Customs. He has a lot of fantastic painted heads to choose from. When we saw his Episode III Obi-Wan Kenobi head, we knew it was time to swap the head out on our Revenge Of The Sith action figure. We had to modify the original figure by reducing the ball joint and then we also needed to increase the size of the hole in the head itself before attaching it, but we love the results. This figure looks absolutely fantastic now.

STAR WARS REBELS "OBI-WAN KENOBI" created by Customs for the Kid

This was an action figure we started building a while ago when we learned Obi-Wan was going to make an appearance on Star Wars Rebels. To build the figure we used the 2013 Clone Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi body. The forearms we grabbed off of some random Jedi arms we had floating around in our fodder bin to provide the bloused out sleeves to replace the gauntlets. We sanded down the head of the Rebels: Mission Series Obi Wan Kenobi hologram figure and then resculpted the hair with some ProCreate. The soft goods on his lower robes we grabbed off of a Tusken Raider that was in the Vintage 3-pack. It was a nice way to add articulation to the figure to increase the poseability.

We are really excited to add this figure to our collection just before the release of "Twin Suns" this upcoming Saturday!

These pics were taken before we had a suitable lightsaber and had been replaced with the lightsaber in the pictures at the top.

"MAUL MANDOS" created by Darth Daddy

This latest post is showing how a quick repaint of some Clone Wars Death Watch Mandalorian Warriors that came with the Mandalorian Speeder from Hasbro's mini-rig line can offer up some pretty cool looking Maul Mandos. The project is an easy way to add a few Maul Mandos to your Clone Wars collection. The articulation on these figures is just phenomenal...especially, at the ball jointed wrists and hips!

These figures also really complement our Clone Wars Darth Maul and the Mandalorian Super Commando custom action figures created by Peakob1 Custom Creations.
