CLONE WARS "IONE MARCY" created by Darth Daddy

Dad sculpted this Ione Marcy over the last few days to compliment a Cassie Cryar custom action figure that was created by Peakob1 and has been sitting in my collection for over a year now .  Both figures are from the Clone Wars "Lightsaber Lost" episode and Dad felt that you really can't have one figure without the other since they worked as a team.

Ione Marcy was a female criminal who lived during the Clone Wars. She and Cassie Cryar, her partner-in-crime, engaged in many illegal activities, which included the theft of Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano's lightsaber and the murder of Nack Movers, a Trandoshan assassin. Searching for the stolen lightsaber, Tano and Cosian Jedi MasterTera Sinube, who wanted to help her, interrogated Bannamu, the pickpocket who originally took the lightsber, and discovered he had sold it to Movers. When the Jedi arrived at Mover's apartment, they found Marcy, who hid Cryar in the next room and posed as an innocent bystander. However, Cryar was found by Tano and tried to utilize the lightsaber, but was unable to turn it on, and so escaped through the window, and was chased by Tano through Coruscant. Meanwhile, at the apartment, Sinube, who began to question Marcy's innocence, secretly planted a tracking beacon on her. Upon being accused of the killing and of being the intruder's accomplice by Sinube, Marcy escaped in her airspeeder, and picked up Cryar. The two thieves then made their way to a train station, but were followed there by Tano, Sinube, and police droids, and were arrested.

Yakfinities #46 is here!

The latest Customizing Challenge is here! As always, the rules are very simple – make a new figure, and post a picture of it in the Yakface forums! But you do need to follow the theme of course – and this one is very broad… all you have to do is make a custom of a female character!

Whether it be an alternate look for Princess Leia, a half-eaten Oola, or something completely fan-fiction, it’s up to you! Entries will be accepted through 11:59 PM CST, December 31st.

They’ve already gotten some nice entries – check them out, or add your own by clicking here!

Yakfinities # 44

The latest Yakfinities Customizing Challenge continues with a theme that they haven’t tackled before and since it's start there has been some very interesting concepts shown off in the forums.

With the lull in new product these days, there’s never been a better time to roll up your sleeves and add some new figures to your collection in a different way – by creating your own figures! So check out some really cool customs or submit your own after the jump!

DAD's "YAKFINITIES #40 - ROGUE JEDI" ENTRY

BACKSTORY

This Stennes Jedi was a Jar' Kai lightsaber instructor at the Jedi Temple that later left the order as the Clone Wars was nearing its end. He specialized in the use of the short saber or shoto. It was said that he instructed Ahsoka Tano in the use of the shoto blade. After he left the Jedi Order his whereabouts were unknown and his fate was uncertain. It could be possible he used his shapeshifting abilities to escape Order 66.

STENNES JEDI

Just a simple kitbash with some new paint applications.

The head and hands are from a Trinto Duaba action figure and the body is from a Legacy Collection Mace Windu. The hood is from a G.I. Joe Zartan action figure.

Dad admits that his entry isn't as creative or as cool as the entries the other customizers have entered in the contest, but he felt it was a decent enough custom action figure to qualify as eye candy.

Head on over to the forums for more details by clicking here!
