FEMALE AQUALISH DANCER

Dad has been working on this custom a little at a time and finally got around to wrapping her up. Dad used the head of the Vintage Ponda Baba and sculpted on a feathered headdress and elongated the hair on the sides of her face to resemble a picture of an Aqualish female drawing that he saw once. He also used some old fodder that we had like the arms and torso of a ROTS Aayla Secura and lower legs of a Legacy Slave Leia. The hands are also from the Vintage Ponda Baba, and the feet are from The Force Unleashed Shaak Ti.

We will be using her for another dancer in Jabba's Palace and a background character in my Mos Eisley Cantina diorama.

She looks great next to the other dancers Dad created for Jabba's Palace.

Iktochi Separatist Sympathizer

I wasn't sure if Dad was going to have time to finish an action figure for this weekend, so I decided that I'd make sure you all had a new figure to look at when you all came to visit today. It turned out Dad did get one done, but he still has to photograph it, so it won't be posted until later today. To hold you over is a quick No Paint Kit Bash that I threw together using a head from a Clone Wars Saesee Tiin, the hands from a Wilrow Hood, and the body of the Vintage Doltay Dofine.

Iktochi Separatist sympathizer, Xerro Dovitti, conspired with the Separatist Army several times throughout the Clone Wars. A rich and powerful merchant, he sometimes loaned his space freighters to the Separatists to help them move their droid armies and supplies to strategic locations throughout the galaxy. He also sometimes acted as a Separatist commander during these missions.

I did all the photography this time around.

The gun is from G.I. Joe fodder we had, but I'm not sure who it was from.

I used the hands of a Wilrow Hood action figure.

The blue marking on the Clone Wars Saesee Tiin matched really well with the body of the Doltay Dofine.

SURE WE'VE BEEN QUIET, BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN WE'RE NOT BUSY - A TRIP TO THE WORKSHOP

WIP ACTION FIGURES

So Dad has been tinkering away. Nothing finished quite yet, but hopefully at least one of these action figures will be finished by this weekend. Keep your fingers crossed. The builds are done, all that is left is a trip to the paint shop.

THE YOUNGLING KICK CONTINUES

So my mom has been expressing her concern to my Dad about the violence in Star Wars and all the dark themes that exist in the stories. She expressed concern about how it could affect my development and my overall outlook on life. To meet mom halfway, Dad went on a huge kick where he created a bunch of custom Jedi younglings and then bought me the new Starspeeder 1000 and the Star Tours crew, to transport my younglings throughout the Star Wars universe and make our play more kid friendly and less about the battles some people usually associate with the Wars.

JEDI YOUNGLINGS

Dad sculpted new legs onto his Gran Jedi youngling, and added Advozse and Neomodian Jedi younglings to my collection over the weekend as well.

This Quermian Jedi youngling was purchased on ebay a few years ago, but arrived in the mail completely damaged. When we opened the bubble mailer, the head was cracked off. Dad had to completely resculpt a new neck, and then had to repaint the figure due to the repairs he had made. In the end the figure looked different than when we had bought it, but Dad his best to stick to the original concept that the customizer had used.

Dad used the new Vintage Doltay Dofine head and hands with the Vintage Anakin Skywalker body to create this youngling and then repainted them to match the paint he applied to the neck.

Dad replaced the ball joint of the neck to attach the Vintage Bom Vimdim head to the Vintage Anakin Skywalker body to create this youngling.

I sure do have a lot of younglings now!
