CUSTOMIZER SPOTLIGHT #40: ASIS FILM MODELS "ALDAR BEEDO" & "BOLES ROOR"

The next two podracers we have to share with you all were not only manufactured by ASIS FILM MODELS, but we now own the actual figures used in their advertising photos and can be found in the "Customs for the Kid" home collection. Both of these two figures were painted by ASIS FILM MODELS themselves.  ASIS FILM MODELS paint applications are impressive as their sculpting skills. These figures are just beautiful!

ASIS FILM MODELS puts out a wonderful product for those of you that want to fill out their 3 3/4" collection.  No they don't have articulation but these cast figures bring the bang in every other department.  I always loved the character design of these podracers and ASIS FILM MODELS really brings these characters to life. If you feel like you don't have the ability to paint the figures quite as well as ASIS can, have them paint one for you.  Their paint applications are stunning! We couldn't be more thrilled to own these!

"THE CHILD" & "LOTHCAT" created by ASIS FILM MODELS

These two figures from The Mandalorian are another cool offering produced by Asis Film Models. They are both 3.75" scale figurines and are a great addition to any Star Wars action figure collection. Each are an ultra-detailed resin cast, painted by hand and placed on a custom cardback with a resealable blister. Both of these can be purchased online from the Asis Film Models website.

Customs for the Kid has purchased numerous items from this seller in the past and they never disappoint. Buy with confidence!

"The Child" is also available in the 6" scale.

3.75" "CRUSHER" ROODOWN Action Figure painted by Darth Daddy

Roodown, nicknamed "Crusher" Roodown, was an Abednedo scavenger on the planet Jakku that angered his employer, the junk dealer Unkar Plutt, who suspected he was selling salvage to a different buyer. As a consequence, Plutt's thugs cut off his arms, ending his life as a scavenger. However, Roodown was allowed to work for Plutt as a strong back around Niima Outpost using his replacement load-lifter arms, which greatly increased his strength.

He witnessed Plutt being kidnapped by the criminal Zool Zendiat, and described what had happened to the scavenger Rey when she arrived to investigate. When the Star Destroyer Spectral was uncovered by a storm in the desert, Plutt encouraged the scavengers of Niima to ransack it for him and had Roodown throttle the scavenger Teedo when he questioned the junk dealer. Constable Zuvio then sliced off Roodown's mechanical hand in order to stop any further harm befalling Teedo. In 34 ABY, shortly after the First Order attacked the nearby Tuanul village, he passed by Rey in the outpost.

This action figure was made from a very rare cast figure model that was created by ASIS FILM MODELS. It was a limited edition cast and the sculpt is just amazing! When I saw Roodown in The Force Awakens, he was the first character that I knew I wanted an action figure of. Unfortunately, Hasbro never made him. Fortunately for me, ASIS FILM MODELS did. The cast was a lot of fun to paint and I really love the design of the cast. Unlike the majority of ASIS's offerings that are completely static, this cast actually has ball jointed shoulders. He looks great on display with all of our other Force Awakens action figures.

We highly recommend the offerings of ASIS FILM MODELS.

DARTH DADDY's CUSTOMIZING CORNER: ASIS FILM MODELS

Earlier this week, I read about a company by the name of ASIS Film Models that had contacted Jedi News to inform them of their line of 3 3/4" custom Star Wars model kits posted on their website for sale.

We bought a set here at home, and we recommend visiting the source link below to check out all of their available models.  The design work is just amazing and this will probably be the only way to complete your set of Phantom Menace podracers now that Hasbro has their plates full with future film releases.

These kits are a LIMITED SERIES of only 200 units each! (includes serial number and sculptor´s signature).

The sculpts are extremely well done, and the company even offers painted models for consumers who aren't confident using a paintbrush!
