CUSTOMIZE YOUR CANTINA

While perusing comment sections on social media regarding the HasLab Cantina that was recently announced, we decided it would be a nice time to share some 3rd party offerings from members of the customizing community who are making some unique items to help fill out your display or possibly provide you with some useful offerings to create your own display if the HasLab is just not in your budget. Two of the sellers showcased here are in the United States, one is over in England and the last is from Australia so if international shipping costs are a concern, hopefully the selection presented will help ease your wallets if it lessens the costs in some way. Check out the video below for a sample of each of the sellers Cantina themed offerings and click their logos below to visit their websites.

"THE VINTAGE COLLECTION "STAR WARS: A NEW HOPE" DAMONO DEOMALEY created by "Customs for the Kid" (Headcast by John Evergrey)

Damono Deomaley was another human from the Mos Eisley Cantina we wanted to add to our shelf display. A John Evergrey headcast of Damono put us off to a great start. Once the headcast was painted, all that was needed was some minor sculpting. For the sculpt we took a Farmboy Luke Skywalker action figure and modified the arms, legs and torso. We then used the fabric from one of Dad's old socks to make the soft goods, resulting in one more patron being added to our Cantina display. We originally made his robe from a basmati rice bag, but unfortunately the texture of the fabric wasn't working on camera, so we decided to use a different fabric.

I did the figure's body sculpt, both Dad and I took turns painting parts of the figure, Dad made the soft goods robe and then I made the robe's lapels to finish the figure.

Damono Deomaley was a short, male humanoid who was present in Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina on the planet Tatooine shortly before the Battle of Yavin. While he was in the cantina, the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and the former moisture farmer Luke Skywalker entered looking for a pilot, but ended up getting into a fight with two other patrons.
