CLONE WARS "IONE MARCY" created by Darth Daddy

Dad sculpted this Ione Marcy over the last few days to compliment a Cassie Cryar custom action figure that was created by Peakob1 and has been sitting in my collection for over a year now .  Both figures are from the Clone Wars "Lightsaber Lost" episode and Dad felt that you really can't have one figure without the other since they worked as a team.

Ione Marcy was a female criminal who lived during the Clone Wars. She and Cassie Cryar, her partner-in-crime, engaged in many illegal activities, which included the theft of Jedi Padawan Ahsoka Tano's lightsaber and the murder of Nack Movers, a Trandoshan assassin. Searching for the stolen lightsaber, Tano and Cosian Jedi MasterTera Sinube, who wanted to help her, interrogated Bannamu, the pickpocket who originally took the lightsber, and discovered he had sold it to Movers. When the Jedi arrived at Mover's apartment, they found Marcy, who hid Cryar in the next room and posed as an innocent bystander. However, Cryar was found by Tano and tried to utilize the lightsaber, but was unable to turn it on, and so escaped through the window, and was chased by Tano through Coruscant. Meanwhile, at the apartment, Sinube, who began to question Marcy's innocence, secretly planted a tracking beacon on her. Upon being accused of the killing and of being the intruder's accomplice by Sinube, Marcy escaped in her airspeeder, and picked up Cryar. The two thieves then made their way to a train station, but were followed there by Tano, Sinube, and police droids, and were arrested.

CUSTOMS FOR THE KID: ON THE WORKBENCH

Work In Progress
Star Wars Custom Action Figures
being created by Darth Daddy

Not much left to do before we reveal these figures that are now on our work bench.  Pong Krell is just waiting for his unignighted folded lightsabers to be sculpted and then he will be ready for paint.  After he's painted he will by shipped to Star Wars customizer Hyperdrive who will be adding soft goods clothing to the Clone Wars General.  Dad just has to finish the headsulpt on Ione Marcy so he can paint her too!  The last guy is a fan fiction and all he needs is a few washes on his hair and face and he'll be off to a proper photo shoot.  Expect to see him this weekend.

Spaceship I'm working on.

STAR WARS CROSSOVER FIGURE
 by HUNTER KNIGHT CUSTOMS

Based on the awesome cult movie "Pulp Fiction" Chris “Hunter” Diaz made this awesome crossover figure, featuring one of the most iconic anti-heroes of pop culture and mixed it with Star Wars.

The result: the most unique action figure to ever grace your Star Wars collection!

Julz Saywat is a Jedi from earth, picked up by Han Solo when he was done "walking the earth like Kane in Kung Fu" He then was secretly trained in the Jedi temple of the New Jedi Order. Now in his first mission he faces a mission similar to the one given to him 17 years ago: Deliver a briefcase safely...

This figure includes a Lightsaber and a briefcase with secret contents inside! Only the winner of the auction will get to know what is inside!

From Hunter Knight Customs, a leading customizing studio with hundreds of custom action figures made. Their work has been showcased in Hollywood movies such as Sex Drive (we built a car for them) and MTV.

D&DCUSTOMS ADDED TO "CUSTOMS I WISH I OWNED"

We love nothing more than finding a customizing outfit that just blows our minds and hopefully yours too.  I mean these figures are just off the charts!

One look at the 6" creations of D&DCUSTOMS and you will spend your money on this artistry to compliment Hasbro's upcoming Black Series line.  These figures are just amazing and are sold exclusively on eBay.  In 2008, D&DCUSTOMS mostly created Dungeons and Dragons, G.I. Joe and Marvel figures.  Fortunately for Star Wars fans, they have made some of our favorite characters too.  These figures are perfect collectibles for adults who like articulation and poseability in their figures.  Ahsoka's to die for.

What are you waiting for? Watch the video and run to their eBay store before these figures all sell out!

CLONE WARS: SEASON 5 FINALE - BARRISS OFFEE CUSTOM ACTION FIGURE created by Darth Daddy

This was just a quick head modifiction with some sculpted hair.  Dad used Green Stuff to make it because of it's flexibility and it's unlikeliness to break off.  A little paint and she's done.  Dad used the Cad Bane elbows from his first release to give the Barriss Offee figure ball jointed articulated knees so she can do more Jedi stances.  We finished her off with a set of Assaj Ventress lightsabers. He wants to make the Assaj Ventress bounty hunter helmet and cloak at some point, but he hasn't started working on anything yet.

Hasbro may have given the Clone Wars line the cold shoulder, but Yakface forum members have expressed a different sentiment altogether.  This new customizing challenge allows for both animated and realistic style figures – join in the fun and show off your skills (or lack thereof) after the jump!

CUSTOMIZER SPOTLIGHT #30: MARCUS STARKILLER

So it's time to present our latest edition of Customizer Spotlight.  For the month of May, we grabbed two of the newer additions to my collection that were made by Star Wars customizer Marcus Starkiller.  He made a super-articulated Aurra Sing that we couldn't pass up.  We even got a sweet bonus figure when it shipped.

We came across the Star Wars custom action figures of customizer John Bandow, aka Marcus Starkiller, while surfing the forums of Rebelscum and like us he's a huge Star Wars fan. We were really impressed with not only his customs, but also the work he put into their presentation. He recently started to sell some of his customs, and we picked up the above Aurra Sing custom action figure to add to my collection.  He threw in a New Republic Neimodian A-Wing Pilot for free.  Check out his figures and pick up a few yourselves. We can't say how impressed we were with his action figures, and we are sure that you will be too.
